WHAT TO EXPECT

NEW PATIENT VISIT

1.       Arrival and Paperwork

When you first arrive at Mahan Family Chiropractic, you will be greeted and given your intake paperwork to fill out. We do provide our potential practice members with this information on the website for those who wish to fill it out ahead of time. This generally takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.

2.       Tour the Office

After filling out your paperwork, you will be given a quick tour of the office where you can ask questions and meet our team. This step allows you to feel more comfortable in the office and familiarize yourself with the layout of the space.

3.       Consultation

During your consultation, our team will review your paperwork and health goals while also sharing information about nerve interference, what it is, and how principled chiropractic care can facilitate healing in your body. During this time you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and learn more about our office, your health, and chiropractic care.

4.       Assessment

Our thorough assessment, using the most current and updated technology in the field, will evaluate the location and severity of stress and nerve interference in your body. This diagnosis allows us to fully understand the state of your health, so that we can provide the best possible care that you need and deserve. Additionally, our procedures are incredibly non-invasive and involve zero pricking, poking, or prodding.

5.       X-Ray

While they are not always necessary, the final step of your initial visit to the office is to have x-rays taken. Conveniently located in our office, our x-ray setup is professional, simple, safe, and usually takes about 5 minutes to complete. (Necessary x-rays will be an additional cost)

6.       Doctor's Report

Following your x-rays you will receive the Doctor’s report. During this report, Dr. Devan will present more information on chiropractic care and your health. After your report, we will review findings from your assessment and x-rays, and discuss Dr. Devan’s recommendations for care.

7.       Your First Adjustment

Following your doctor’s report, you will have the opportunity to receive your first adjustment from Dr. Devan! Chiropractic adjustments at Mahan Family Chiropractic are gentle enough for children, and specific enough to improve any health condition you may encounter.
